Sacramento Animal Hospital has been welcoming new veterinary patients, or new additions to our family, as we like to call our clients, since the early 1940s. And we look forward to welcoming you and your companion as well. Our experienced veterinarians and support staff look forward to meeting and serving you not only on your first visit, but also for years to come, and we’re certain that you’ll be pleased with the professional service and care your pet receives upon arrival.

Before Your First Visit

Take a look at our pet services and review our pet health care options for detailed information on how we can meet the needs of your pet. From pet dental care to flea and tick prevention, we are here to help you.

Before your first visit, please be advised of the following:

  • PaperworkAll new clients are required to fill out the new client form. For your convenience, we have provided the form online. Once completed, simply submit the form and it will be sent to us automatically. You can also print the form and fax it to us at 916-451-2257 or bring it along with you to your first visit.
  • Arrival timePlease arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment. This will allow us time to collect all necessary paperwork and information from you.
  • Medical historyIf you have medical history records for your pet, please bring these to your visit. If you are unable to obtain these records from your pet’s previous vet, please bring the doctor’s name and contact information, and we will be more than happy to request this information on your behalf.
  • ParkingDue to our beautiful East Sacramento location, parking at the hospital limited. We do have plans to remedy this, but in the meantime, to better assist our clients, please follow the signs directing you to additional parking in our carport.
